Vegetable Protein

It’s not a coincidence that many of the choices listed are lower in fat.  We eat many of these foods in our household on a regular basis and they are representative of how eating lean matters.

Ok, so we tend to eat the same limited sets of vegetables as there are only a few we can all agree on, but there are so many more out there to choose.  I am still working on experimenting and getting all of us to try new veggies but I encourage you to explore and let me know what goodies you discover.

Also, remember nuts are high in fat, but they pack a great, quick and easy protein punch. Just don’t overdo it.
